We saw the Bayeux Tapestry this morning amazing to think it’s nearly 1000 years old I remember learning about this way back in my junior school days π so glad I got to see it finally
we then walked around Bayeux and drove out past the war cemetery another poignant reminder of this beautiful area
This afternoon we drove down to Tours passing Le Mans on our way we had a couple of hours visiting it’s beautiful cathedral and a stroll around the older parts of the city.
Onwards to Limoges tomorrow
Thought of the day. -on the 6th June it will be 75 years since the D Day landings it’s been amazing to see so many commemorative celebrations going on in this area. Lest we forget

Well done Iβm so jealous.
Just got back from The Lamb missed you
